F650 in London for any bike in Auckland

Hello,

I am interested in borrowing a bike in Auckland for any amount of time during the month of December 2006. I am more than happy for that person to ride my bike if they come to London before Autumn 2008 when I plan to do my delayed motorcycle trip.

Thanks,
Annette

Interested in your bike?

My girlfriend and I will be coming from the US to London May 17, 2007 for a month long trip. We plan to do this by motorcycle. We are looking for a bike between 250cc and 650cc. I thought that I would try and buy a cheap bike when I got into the UK or France but as I can see from some other posts on the subject, it looks like it’s not possible for a non-resident to insure and register a bike, at least in my name.
With that, I thought I would see if there is anyone interested in a bike swap or other arrangement. I’m willing to make some kind of financial arrangement towards the insurance, etc. Also, if you’re ever in the western part of the US, I live in Denver Colorado at the foothills of the Rockies and would be willing to swap my bike in trade.
I appreciate any ideas or suggestions.
Nathan
