Are you thinking about touring in Europe/UK?? KLR 650 may be available.

I may have my bikes available for Europe touring in the next few days.
I own an almost brand new 2008 KLR 650, with givi racks, with currently 1,100 miles on the clock and, eventually a 1995 Paneuropean ST 1100 with side paniers, that could be available to you if you want to tour around Europe. I can help with address for paperwork to be transferred to you with your name and I can forward any future post.
You would need to just find insurance and come over to London UK to get the bike for your trip .

I am sorry I may not be able to help with accomodation where I live but I can assist you in finding something.

Looking for a bike

My wife is working in Italy and we are here for 6 months, (at least)I thought I could buy a second hand Guzzi or BMW or any thing ! Then go for a tour around Europe .It seems to be impossable to buy a bike here, we are from Australia and I have two italian bikes in my garage at home! Any suggestions for picking up a bike for sale, getting insurence , will travel to buy if it is possable, cheers

That's true, unfortunately without residence papers it's impossibile to buy a second hand bike here. However if you're staying for six months I would have thought you'd get a "permesso di soggiorno" paper from your wife's job, which would allow you to buy a bike.

If not, a UK bike is a good idea, just a cheap flight away, but insurance is sometimes a problem.

PM me if I can help in any way. ciao!

Bike for Europe starting Oct 2012 for 3 months?

Hello, looking to rent or swap for a two up moto tour in Europe for up to 3 months starting sometime in Oct 2012. I have a BMW F800GS with bags. This bike has 125,000 miles on the clock but is in perfect shape. I live in the Northeastern part of Washington, state...Winthrop, WA. I am very flexible on dates. Thanks,
YellowBMW.

I saw somebody else is willing to help you in France which I hope it will be easier for you. Unfortunately I wouldn' be able to help you with any of my bikes because of insurance. I can' t put anybody else on my policy and on the other hand I was told by insurers that it wouldn' t be possible to insure somebody who is no a resident in the UK.
