Do you want to ride my bike from Turkey to England?

Hello

The marvellous UKHenry rode my bike from England to Turkey for me so I could start my journey around the Middle East...which is now a very small loop due to Syria being closed :-(

However, I'll be finished in about 4 - 5 weeks and need someone to ride it back to England for me. I would need to take it out of Turkey into Bulgaria or Greece but it is all yours from then on and you can take as long as you like to get it back, you just need to organise your own insurance.

Honda dominator...she's an oldie but a goodie....any takers???

I can't offer to ride your bike back from Turkey but I am very much interested in your info on Syria. In another thread I read, here on the HUBB, Syria border is open and they are welcoming tourists. Can you clarify your information please.

Yes I heard that the border is open by a couple of people and closed by others. The best bet is to get in contact with Zeki from Istanbul Motorcycles (member on HU) as he has people on the ground there with the latest info. I'll re look at it after I come out of Iran and may head there for a quick look before I come home :-)

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
