Thinking out loud, but I might be willing to lend someone my Blackbird and full hard luggage to take either a trip from the UK to Southern Europe, or to bring it back to the UK. Not both - unless of course you want to lay on a beach somewhere for 2 weeks while I use it in between.

The appeal to me is getting a decent period abroad without spending the whole time on motorways. Obviously I will be very careful who I lend a 175mph bike to, so lets be sensible......

Idea would be to build something around a Ryanair / Easyjet type destination.
