bike swap 2015 usa need a harley or indian

Hi everyone
I am looking to swap or rent a bike for 2015 to ride across USA from New York to LA for 4 weeks. The bike has to be a harley or indian just can't go to US for 4 weeks and ride any old bike. I know i am getting in early just want to start getting ahead on this one. I have a honda blackbird and a tiger 800xc at the moment in England. I am willing to buy a bike of someone in new york as well.
If anyone can help please well looking forward to going to USA never been before

The Other Option

I can understand the ethos, experience America on American Iron. You have however, missed out a possibility by not including Victory in your list of possibilities.

Don't try to buy anything in New York state: do some research first about which states make it possible and which do not. Most people would say buying is silly for a short trip anyway.

Eaglerider.com rents Harleys. Not really my thing, but good luck with it.

Most people would suspect that any plans made now for the summer of 2015 are likely to change significantly during the intervening three years. I wouldn't lean too heavily on advance planning at this stage.

Worth what you paid me for it.

Harley Ultra Classic

My bike is in Florida. We rode our Ducati to Utah this past summer and we will continue to use that bike out west through the next several months. We would love to do the swap thing when your ready.

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
