India, Coonoor (hill station)
Hi Lads n Ladies,
Coonoor is one of the hill stations in Nilgiri Hills Tamil Nadu, i found it not as touristy as Ooty and some fantastic tracks around it one goes to Lambs Rock right through a tea plantation take road from hotel Vevek to Tiger Hill then dirt road to Lambs Rock fantastic views. Place to stay is Vevek Hotel, it is run by "Reggie" old motorcycle racer, great guy lots of info... To find it is simple when you arrive in ask for the area Bedford its at top of hill, before roundabout take small lane on right and 2 mins down lane Hotel Vevek on right. Hotel Vevek tel 0423 2230658 hotel rm about 300rupees dorm rd bed is as cheap as you'd like it to be "Reggie" will look after you. Great Restaurant here aswell and very safe parking for moto or even a 4 X 4 Enjoy Regards joe
