Hostel Casa Amelia in Huanchaco. Very recommendable.
Plenty of parking space behind gate. Beautiful quiet place, kitchen, nice rooms.

I got advice on a mechanic in Trujillo (Mototec on Av America Oest) from the guy at Casa Amelia. He was really nice.

The owner of Surfer Burger, a New Yorker named Alex, works on bikes at the shop in Trujillo and can likely advise or do small things in Huanchaco.

I stayed at Hostal Sudamerica in Huanchaco. Easy to get my bike in and out (I rode somewhere every day I was there) and it was in the middle of everything. Locked at night and I felt it was safe during the day.
