We second that wholeheartedly, Diego looked after us when we stopped in Quito a few weeks back. sorted the bike, took us out and showed us round (Quito, Cotopaxi) and even looked after the bike when we visited the Galapagos Islands (his uncle runs an Islands cruise company) Diego if you're reading this, get that web site up and running and we'll see you in Europe! We are now in Santiago heading South after the Dakar What a blast!!

Thanks for the recommendation. I met up with Diego just a few days ago in Quito. He helped me with all of my mechanical woes. He's a super nice guy, fluent in English and a very knowledgeable mechanic. I highly recommend Diego if you need ANY moto work done in Quito.

I've just had my BMW sorted by Diego, an oil and filter change, a check and replenish of all fluid levels, sorting out the tappit rattle which was drowning out the noise eminating from the tube thingies that stick out the back of the bike and probably most importantly the discovery that my drive shaft universals were all about to self distruct mind you the 250,000ks on the speedo should have been a bit of a giveaway and all topped off with the best clean that the moto has had for a while. As well as a really nice little workshop, Diego now has space for storage of bikes so if you want to pop over to the Galapagos he could solve your problems. A most enthusiastic young moto mechanic who I think deserves support. His contact details are still the same as in the first post. Ride safe.

Diego is top notch mechanic, and very nice guy! He's letting me rebuild my rear suspension in his shop, and helping me save some money. Also took me on a nice ride through the countryside. High ly recommended!
