Hola HU Community,

I can recommend Hostal Santa Fe in Cuenca, Ecuador. The owner bends over backwards to accomodate you, and we could ride 4 bikes through the Hotel lobby and dining area to park them inside next to the pool table. Excellent location a block from the river and restaurants and a couple of blocks from the main square. Easy and cheap, we paid $8 USD a night in Aug 2010. Not in Lonely Planet.

The Villa Nova hotel is well located, has great parking and is run by an American and very friendly.

Good place to stay is Alternative hostel on crosiing Calle Larga with Huayana Capac. they have wi-fi, breakfast and parking. We paid 22 usd for doble room, and dorm is for 9 usd. Clean and nice place.
