There's a nice beautiful old wooden hotel called Hotel Hornopiren, in the town of Hornipen in the Chilean Patagonia along the Carretera Austral-ruta 7.

Rooms were under $20USD a night, there's undercover parking for motorcycles out the back, fireplace, a computer and breakfast included. Most rooms overlook the picturesque bay. There are doubles and rooms with 2 singles.

Its a nice cosy warm stop along the windy and chilly Patagonia

The owner is a sweet old lady called Oly Brauning who is very friendly and hospitable.
