Exclamation Brazil, Rio Negro - Invitation

Hi, my name is Reginaldo Rohden, I live and work in Rio Negro, a town located 110km southward far from Curitiba. I´m a firefighter chief in a firestation in Rio Negro, if you are riding here, going to northward to Rio de Janeiro, or southward to Buenos Aires, have a rest in this town. I have a free room here.

Hi Gert,

That´s great, you can visit me.
Now I am 100 km northward far from Rio Negro, I am in CURITIBA, I was moved to here. But it will be easier for you to arrive here in Curitiba.
From Florianópolis to Curitiba is about 4 hours by motorccycle, you just have to take BR-101//376 (highway) with about 03 tolls till here.

We can meet at Texaco gas station (in front of Hotel Paraná Golf), coordinates:
S 25°39'28.7"
W049°09'19.6"
//
S 25°39.479'
W049°09.327'

If you still don´t have, you can get a good free Garmin gps map from Brazil at:
Principal
.
http://www.tracksource.org.br/index.php?option=com_wrapper&view=wrapper&Itemid=2 0

Try at "download", then first option: TRC-Brasil - versão (version) 6.02 - Mapsource - many cities, towns, highways and roads included.

Do you have a sleeping bag? If you don´t, I have one here.
How long do you intend to stay here?

For me it´s better if you arrive on friday at about 05:00 am at the meeting point, because of my job. So we can talk, ride surroundings on saturday and sunday.

By the way I think you have met a friend from Curitiba, Mario on a BMW 1100 GS, We are friends from dirt road, so little World!!!
Here we can talk more!!!

FOTOS

Have a nice ride,
Reginaldo Rohden.

Despues de pasar por el sur recien me acorde que tenia que haberlo visitado por supuesto.....

Gracias Reginaldo

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
