Argentina, Ushuaia, Hostel La Posta

For those people out there who don't fancy camping down here in 5 deg C temps with snow showers Hostel La Posta is a great option, dorms, rooms, wifi, kitchen, secure bike parking. The owner, Lolo is a bike rider and a very helpful bloke. He has lots of local knowledge about where to get tyres and other bike stuff.

Highly Recommended.

Another recommendation for La Posts, Lolo the owner rode his V-Strom to Alaska so he is one of us. 10% discount for motorcycle travelers

How do you get 82 minutes to a degree?
Not being picky, we arrived in Ush this morning, now looking for a spot that isnt $200 a night.
Edit:
Found La Posta okay after a run around the MX track which are Ushuaias roads.
Price is now around 1000 Pesos a night and lolo isnt on site all the time. But it is impressively neat, tidy, organised and efficient; very un-Argentinian!
Thumbs up too, from two Aussies on Dr650s.

Greetings Precis

I don't. The GPS coordinates I've shown are in decimal degree format not DD° MM' SS"

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Decimal_degrees

My GPS (60CSX) allows you to select either format. Check the setting pages on your GPS to see if it gives you that option.

Otherwise here is an online converter

GPS: -54° 49' 33.6288", -68° 19' 47.9748"

Good luck with the accommodation. It must be getting a bit chilly down there?

Hostal Aonikenk is another good option. The owner kept our bike while we went for Antarctica about 12 days.
