Texas, Houston - Invitation, Room!
I live near downtown in the historic Houston Heights neighborhood and have an extra room with very secure parking available for overlanders. You can stay at my house for a few days... you just have to watch out for my australian shepherd.
I don't need alot of warning, just a day or so to make sure that I have clean towels. You can use my garage/tools, plus am connected into a couple of local forums where I can get all sorts of Texas centric information for you. If you're heading south to Mexico/Latin America, I recently rode to Tierra del Fuego and have tons of maps/books/tips to reference. Heading South from Houston
Hey Dave,
I'll be in Houston in May before heading south to Brazil from North Carolina. I looked at your links and saw that you are on a trip right now. It would have been really great to connect with you in Houston for the hospitality and knowledge. This is my first trip so I'm a lil' nervous haha.
