Kamloops B.C. invite. a free spot to sleep

My girlfriend and i got home last Oct. after 2 1/2 years of travel around the world, and riding to canada from argentina on our dr650. Since being home we miss the interactions and stories with other riders and travellers. Our friends here just cant relate. I have been seeing lots of bikes going thru so far this summer and figured i would throw it out there that if anyone is passing by and would like a place to fix the bike, have a shower, or shoot off some emails, drink a and not sleep in a tent feel free to get a hold of us. Send me a PM on here or at dan-sims@hotmail.com

or if you need some info on the area dont hesitate to ask

happy riding
Dan Sims

Hey there Dan,

Would that include my wife and I racking your brain about traveling out of North America via motorcycle. We live in Abbotsford and don't know any local couples that have traveled?

dansims,
I have fond memories of Kamloops from quite a few years ago when I went on a male bonding trip with my teenage son (unfortunately not with 2 wheels) in BC and Alberta . Your home area was very welcoming and friendly to us.
Hence you have earned "my like" and I don't hand them out lightly

Hi,
I am flying in Canada on 18 June 2013, pick my bike in Nelson and head for Halifax, then make a u-turn riding West all the way to Alaska. I figure by late August or early Sep I would be around Kamloops. I was wondering if your place is still open for me stay overnight?

Best regards from Malaysia,

Amzah

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
