Pincar Breakdown service in Genoa avoid

Hi,
I want to share with you my bad experience had in Genoa with PINCAR Service tel. +39010751523, car breakdown service altough I am Italian, I had to pay 122,00 Euros for the transport like a car, maybe it was my fault not asking a quote before, the nightmare was going to start. They told me they were able to fix my motorcycle although this is car service, pieces were supplied but according their opinion were not for my models(???) , after three months and many telephone calls I went to Genoa in order to find a solution to this never ending story so I paid the invoice for 63 Euros for one hour and half of works it was dismounted the chain and some other piece of the rear wheel, their opinion was to be demolished, so a real moto service was called for the transport and possible repairs, all details were left as my phone number in order and moto service in order to collect the vehicle asking them to kindly contact me for any problem or the moto service located in the town nearby. Today I discover that I had to pay 78 euros more for extra stay of my motorbike as the motor service arrived for the transport of my motorbike with several days in late for a misunderstanding, maybe it was still my fault that the staur was not checked, when I told the clerk that she had all phone number in order to communicate with me for any reasons, the reply was she was so unable to make a call as so busy (cost for a call in Italy 50 eurocent mobile, or 20 eurocent from a fixed). So the total paid wad 263 Euros for this HIGH QUALITY SERVICE, so if you have a breakdown ask exactly for a moto breakdown service the word in Italy is ‘Motosoccorso’ (price should be 40 Euros about) insist for it in order to avoid experiences like the mine, and carefully avoid this company when in Genoa.

Ciao J

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
