Italy, Tuscany - Not your typical biker accommodation
 

My husband and I just came back from an absolutely wonderful 2 week trip around Tuscany. We wanted to treat ourselves to something a bit special because it was our 5th wedding anniversary, so we decided to go for accommodation that was a bit more private, and spent most nights in holiday homes. My husband wasn't too keen at first, he's a big fan of camping and hostels when biking, but he ended up enjoying it just as much as I did, especially because some of the places we found were quite remote, meaning that we had to leave the main routes and discovered some great spots along the way. It does mean that you can't just spontaneously add a stop to your trip when you feel like it, but it's great if you want to make your trip feel a bit more private and fancy!
