Smile Onya, mate

Good to see your offer, Jens. I am doing it the other way around. I have been having travellers stay with me for the last five years. It's been great fun, and I won't feel so bad saying yes to people who offer us accommodation when we go on our trip. I hope your experience is as good as mine has been.

Regards

Nigel in NZ

Talking Communities

The HU Communities are set up so you can't see who is a member. Any post you send to a community, goes to everyone in that community. They then have the option of replying or not. If you use the link I put up earlier, you can go on the helpful persons list which is different. That's a public listing of individuals who have put themselves forward so anyone can contact them directly.

Hi Jan! How is it being back home?? :-(
The whole of Germany? My estimate was only about 66% of the motorcyling population of your fair country has stayed at my place! My daughter April still calls my place "The German Embassy". Have you seen anything of Oliver?

Regards

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
