Albania, Gjirokaster, guesthouse

Kotoni Guest House, Gjirokastra, Albania

Head to the old town. From the main square, keep going up (it gets cobbled, steep & slippery here - for easy riding pick one of the blander hotels outside the old town) behind the restaurant. Left at the first junction, right at the next, right at the fork and it's on your left. There's a small space opposite where you can put a bike, or they'll let you park it inside the breakfast room!

Very friendly, nice rooms in a traditional Gjirokaster house, with views across to the castle, approx 15-20 euros B&B.

Hi, i recently stayed at Camping Albania near Shkodra which i highly recommend; they have camping, hotel rooms and a bunkhouse; also have a very nice pool. i opted for the hotel room which was of 5 star quality for 20 Euros (not including breakfast).
Also recommend a campsite in the South just NW of Lekovik which also has cabins. Cabin cost me 25 Euros (there were 4 beds), unsure if this was the cost of the whole cabin or 25 Euros per person.
i met a few people that had camped at Vermosh in the North and they highly rated it.

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
