Hostel Via Via. in LP on a shoestring 2003/04 parking inside. dorm rooms, costs 50 Cordobas (2 Euros, 3 Dollars) per Person. Little noisy till 11.30.

Opposite the Via Via is going to open a great place beginning May 2005, check it out, the owner is Australian and a cool guy.

Granada

The Hostel Central, just off the Central Plaza in Calle Calzada has room for about 5-6 Dollar pP, safe parking inside. Its a colorful, esoteric, backpacker place.

Alternative for 3 to 4 people is Hospedaje La Pergola parallel to Hostel Central in Calle El Caimito also going down to the lake. Room for 4 people is 29 Dollar with private bathroom, very clean, airy rooms, nice courtyard and safe parking. For 2 or 3 people little expensive

For 2-3people there is also Charlys Bar, in Calle de Petronic run by a german guy, he has room for 20 dollars for 2 to 3 people.

On Isla Ometepe there is plenty opportunities for camping. we have been at Hacienda Merida. It was ok and secure. Nice dirt road the last 3 miles. 2 US $ pP

San Juan del Sur.
ok rooms in Hotel Costa Azul just off the beach road. Internet facitlities, nearby beachfront and safe parking for 5 US pP in dorm or double

also Hospedaje Rebecca is nice and safe parking but most of the times full. about 7 to 9 dollar pP

Safe parking in the locked garaged.

Free internet.
Very safe parking, I took out one of my rear panniers to roll in the machine. spacious with free flow of coffee and pool table.
