There is a great place in Arenal at Lago Arenal. German Panaderia. Camping (for free) nearby, U can ask for staying in their cabin. Its at the main road going thru from Tilaran to La Fortuna. U cant miss is. German breakfast and dinner, german bread and german . A piece of paradise. Owner Tom and Ellen have been welcoming for generations of bike travelers.

La Fortuna, Sissys Cabana.

San Jose, Costa Rica Backpacker. not cheap, but nice and safe parking. 8 Dollar in dorm pP. location can be found in LP Central America on a shoestring.

Orosi, Orosi Valley, Montana Linda.
Camping 3 Dollar pP. Dorms about 7 Dollar.
parking is right beside the office. Its a small village so should be ok safe. Nothing happened to us.

Tel: 506-2694-4726; correo.cabinascanfinera@yahoo.com. 10,000 colones (~US$ 18) for 2 people, private bathroom with hot water, fan and cable TV, safe parking between the cabinas & owner´s house.

Liberia:

When you enter the town, the road will eventually become one way. Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events (22 this year!); we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, the HUBB or to receive the e-zine. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
