Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events such as this one (18 this year!); we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, the HUBB or
to receive the e-zine. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and

New Zealand, North Island, Levin - Room/Camping, workshop, bike to hire
Hi,
We would like to offer any traveller who may be passing a room or camping on our small block. It's a couple of km's off SH1 near Levin so handy(ish) for Wellington and a good stop off for a few days to get your bearings. You are welcome to stay longer but I may start putting your name on some of the jobs that need doing (never ending list!).
I've got a workshop with a few of the tools you will need for running repairs. Garage space for your precious bikes and plenty of space to pitch a tent if we have a full house.
I also have an R100 which I can lend out for costs plus a donation to charity (stroke foundation) and as usual, if you break it you pay for it. Under the guidance of it's previous owner It has seen a full and productive life around Europe, Australia, New Zealand and India > Germany. As a result the bike does have a bit of character (and some unusual features) but holds together very well and is a lot of fun to ride.As I probably don't know you I'd prefer if you came with a recommendation from a senior HUBB member.
