HOTEL DE LA PAIX- Rue Alexandre Dumas, located conveniently close to the centre of town, this hotel has big, basic rooms with a basin inside. You have to pay for the shower, but at least this ensures it's hot! The manager will allow you to wheel your bike inside the corridor later at night, and about two, maybe three bikes will fit in.

JERBA: Just outside Aghir, on the road to Houmt Souk you will find Sidi Slim hotel. The hotel itself is a bit pricey, but next to the hotel they have a campsite with basic toilet/hot shower facilities. The campsite is close to the beach and along the road you will find small shops with most things you'll need(always negotiate as they love overcharging tourists!).

For a cheap, proper food shopping, go to Houmt Souk, 28km from the campsite. In Rue Taheir Battikh there is the brand new Sahara Comfort supermarket with everything you need at much lower prices than anywhere else!
