Abuja is quite expensive to stay but there is a good budget option: the Pope John Paul Catholic Mission Centre in Bangui street, Wuse II. It is opposit the Jevinik restaurant which nearly all taxi drivers know. The Catholic Mission has good rooms, with aircon and/or fan and a bathroom. There is a small restaurant and you can buy a beer. Friendly people.
