Morocco, Marrakech - Hotels

Hi folks,

We're off to Morocco for a couple of weeks in March, we finish the trip with 3 nights in Marrakech and are looking for accommodation. Budget seems to be around €50 per night ! looking for something authentic, well located, clean and nice ..... any recommendations very welcome.

Many thanks Matt

Smile A kip in Kesh

Hi Matt
There was a lovely little pension with a roof terrace called Hotel Essouara, just off Jeb el efna in the maze of lanes just north of the square. I have lent my book to a friend, but it should be in Rough Guide, used to be about £5 for a double, but that was a few (5) years ago. does't time fly?

See my post "Marrakesh hotels" . You'll pay 10 euros a night for a single, 12 euros a double. If you use what Ive recommended, let me know what you thought of it.

You can buy a rug with the money I've saved you......not in the souk, but in the craft co-operative!
