Anyone thinking of heading to Queensland or NT in the next few weeks had better check road conditions Road Conditions | Travel | RACQ for road closures. Usually dont have to think about this until late November.

The South East region of Queensland has had its fair share of rain - a few days of 300mm has seen the flood mitigation dam at Wivenhoe opened for the first time in over a decade.

A lot of the QLD forestry/national park roads are closed as well with deep, fast flowing water over causeways. You can check here Find a park or forest (Department of Environment and Resource Management) for parks/camping areas that are closed.
