Stuart Highway Oz

Hi Guys can anyone point me to a site that lists all the rest areas, towns, roadhouses, dunnies, etc on the Stuart Highway. Planning to go by bicycle. Plenty on the Nullarbor crossing (which I did last year) but unable to find much on Stuart.
Heading Adelaide to Darwin next June so just in the planning stage.
Thanks

There is a caravanner and rv big book out. Check in the local RAC office in whatever state you are in

In there it shows step by step the free camping spots Oz wide which includes all the info the grey nomads need which is similar to what you need

You'll want a map.. some of the Hemma maps show the roadhouses and stores .. their Australian Motorcycle Atlas shows them for instance.

The "roadside rest areas" tend to be littered with used toilet paper .. not nice - they have no toilet facilities so people use "the bush" .. but the dingoes dig up what they buried and the paper blows everywhere ..

Message .. burn your toilet paper other there!

If you want less traffic ... and dirt roads use the Oddnadatta track ... less facilities .. but you could use the Mawson Track up to Blindman (more dirt back roads and tracks)

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
