I'm on a world ride heading south through Malaysia and Indonesia. Where is the cheapest launch point for NZ from Indo? Any info on airfreighting would be greatly appreciated. Please email me direct.
Thanks,
Glen

No ferry from Singapore to anywhere and trying to take your bike there will teach you the meaning of bureaucracy. And expense.
You can ship to Sumatra from Penang or near Malaca - check out the shipping pages. You can also get yourself a 2 month visa for Indonesia in Malaysia.
Don't miss Indonesia - it was one of our favorite countries!

Make sure to drop me a line when you get down the South Island, mate. It would be grand to meet up with you. I'm near Christchurch.

Thanks

I just shipped my bike a few months ago from Penang,Malaysia to Medan,Indonesia.Which was allright.Let me know or you want the info as i didn't put my report on the site yet.
2 months later i shipped it from Dili,East-Timor to Darwin,Australia which was also easy and pretty cheap.

Bossit,

Can you post your shipping experience on the "shipments by travellers" section on the site, it would be helpful to many other folks, including me!

Go to Melacca in Malaysia or Kuala Lumper as from both places it is easy to get your bikes on a boat to Indonesia.
