Sending Bikes from Canada to NZ
 

Which city in New Zealand would be the most practical and easiest to send my motorcycle eg proximity to the Port, customs clearing etc etc. I am sending it by boat from Vancouver BC Canada.

I brought my Guzzi into Auckland N.Z from the U.K a couple of years ago & it was fairly hassle free. Then again I had the freight company do the clearance - I only attended to the re-registration.
As a native I would like to think that N.Z should be consistent whatever port you decide to use. Akld, Tauranga, Wellington or Christchurch. It all depends on your intended route around the country. We are reasonably free of beuracracy in n.z.
