REnewal Carnett in Australia
 

Juts learned that I can not renew my carnett because of the Indian problem. Extension may be prossible though.

Went to day to try to extend it which is a bit of a hassle here in OZ:

1) Contact RAC, thay need approval from:
- Issuer of Carnett (which is usually your home country and the time difference makes the waiting here).
- Customs
- RAC
2) You need to fill in forms at the RAC.
3) You need to show the bike at customs.
4) Back to the RAC for more forms.

Going to cost 50 Oz dollars probably but I haven't finished the pocedure yet...
