go thru the southwest..

Hi Ash

Depending what sort of kms you want to do but I suggest heading south towards Margaret River (surfing, wineries etc) then maybe head inland through towards Pemberton through the Karri forests. From memory there's some great roads in a bit of a triangle between Pemberton, Nannup and Collie(? i think) Some good country between Bunbury and Collie as well.

Have a good ride. (weather's a bit wet here at the mo.)

Bruce

places to go in Perth

Dont know when your'e coming to Perth, summer not always good time to be out on 2 wheels especially mid day. However, there ae some good roads through Mundaring hills, best roads to the south as bruceontheloose said but these are 4-5 hours drive away.

You might want to try off road instead, plenty of trails available with a few tour operators kicking around.

If you need some more info let me know.

Regards
Steven

Perth rides

The area around Mundaring Weir is great.

Also, if you head towards a small place called Pickering Brook there are lots of unsurfaced roads (kind of like fire-breaks in the forest). I managed to find a hill top called Mount Dale which was a fabulous place to spend a few hours. So peaceful, and fantastic views all round.

I haven't done it yet, but it is possible to ride to The Pinnacles (some rock formations on the coast, North of Perth). I'll do that on my next trip to Perth.

I also managed to get all the way down to Augusta, great roads and some amazing forests and coastlines down that way.

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
