I have found Hema maps to be the go. www.hemamaps.com.au Depending on where you want to go their; Australia Motorcycle Atlas,is a handy size to carry on a bike.They also have more detail maps avaliable. Ben

Another option would be to join one of the motoring organisations (like the AA). In NSW its NRMA and in VIC it it RACV. When you join I'm sure you are able to get free (or cheap) maps that are pretty good both for regional/outback travelling etc.

I use Raster Natmaps, lots of detail.
http://www.ga.gov.au/nmd/products/maps/raster250k/ I print out the areas I am going, them put them in plastic sleeve. Last edited by crisbie; 28 Aug 2006 at 07:34.
