Hi all, been busy for a while but just have two days off , you can see what I have been doing during the floods here and it wil give you some idea of what to expect during our wet season

We sort of got forgotten while Brisbane and those areas south had a few days of flood. Meanwhile after 3 weeks of major flood, our Fitzroy river has dropped to 7.15m which is still classified as a 'moderate' flood and will still be up for some time I guess.

Meanwhile, the roads have opened, the rail will be soon I expect, the airport will still be out for a few weeks pressure testing.

We have parked up our boats and they will be getting a much needed service over the next few days, but only one at a time, just in case another dickhead decides to go for a swim. The last dickhead just copped 6 months suspended sentance, which was a tad lenient for putting our lives at risk, but that is the courts for you!

Anyway, some cleaning up is happening in some houses and we are getting our SES HQ ready for the next event.
