Intro, Sydney bike dealers.

Hi all,
First off i'd just like to say what a great site, i have learnt so much here.
I am a Kiwi arriving in Aus end June, staying with a mate in Sydney till organised.
My intention is to pick up a 2nd hand F650GS about 2002-2004 and around 20,000km, then once kitted out i intend doing the Lap and more.
I intend at least a years travel initially.
I have been watching a number of motor trader sites but would appreciate any assistance with the following.
Can anyone recommend any good dealers around Sydney or any to avoid.
Any one know of any bikes for sale.
Kouba links or similar dealers?.
Also i can source Touratech panniers from Mtrcycle adventure.com.au, but if any body knows of other dealers with good hard luggage in stock would be handy.
I will have other questions but these will do to start.
Thanks for any and all assistance.
Lorne.

Hey Lorne

Just some advice, you are able to land a set of panniers direct from Tourtech in 8 days from Germany at a cheaper rate. Just ask them to leave a zero of the invoice for GST & customs.

Cheers

Lorne,

Check out http://bikepoint.com.au There were several F 650 GS bikes there for sale when I looked just now

Good adventure, if you are around the Victorian Alps region and need somewhere to stay, just shout!

Cheers
Gary

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
