If anyone knows of anyone who'd be prepared to put an extra 85kgs on the back of their bike for the trip down, I'd be extremely grateful and happy to contribute for costs, fuel etc and shout a few cold s too.

Please let me know if you can help or are aware of anybody who might be in a position to.

Many thanks

Where there is a will there is a way. 8 days to go, plenty of time. Something will come along for sure. Greyhound bus as last resort maybe??

Sydney Riders

Hi Rob, I am heading out from Syd but unfortunatly still on P's so no pillion allowed. Plus I am riding a Hyosung GV250 so we would probably have to leave today to make it on time.

Hope you find a way mate and we will see you there!

Glad to see there's more people here.

Well, there is still time to call all QLDers to attend the HU Meeting, or even all those on the way. We are (Loxsmith is in charge) leaving at 5oish from Brisbane.

So let's keep in touch,

see you soon,
FR

Exclamation Important Info

We will be sending a message to all, but thought I would give you the heads up here first :-)

Please bring enough cash with you to Tintaldra for the weekend, the Hotel doesn't take cards!!

Not sure where the nearest bank is, but have a sneaking suspicion it could be Albury/Wodonga!

I'm sure you can correct me on this one David.

Thanks,

Sian

What a trip!

Over 3400km door to door and only 20km on the Hume Highway. The rest was mountain ranges and just corner after corner. Can't ask for more than that. Congratulations to Sian & Arno for a very well organised meeting. Fantastic atmosphere, lots of brilliant presenters (laughed 'til my sides split, thanks Adrianne) good food, and lots of like minded people that were not afraid to share their knowledge.
'Til next time ride safe and "Travel Your World"

Glen

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive.
