FREE ACCOM in Sydney over Xmas

During the past year I have been the recipient of the most wonderful hospitality imaginable. Time to pay it forward...

I will be home in Sydney for a short time from mid Dec 2014 to early Feb 2015 and as the offspring will be overseas, I am making her room available free of charge to any travelling motorcyclist needing a short stay in Sydney.

There's a double bed and a single mattress on the floor and a fold-out lounge if you are truly desperate. We can always squeeze in an airbed or two and we can all fight over the single bathroom. Free use of the kitchen, especially if you want to cook dinner for me too. Free wifi and laundry etc.

This is NOT a party house and only moderate drinking will be tolerated and definitely no smoking.

The house is just 5km from the airport and 1km from the city but be aware - there is NO OFF-STREET PARKING. You can chain your bike to a tree but it will be living on the street. It is a reasonably safe area and I've never had a bike stolen from here but I give no guarantee.

New Years Eve will be reserved for someone who would like to attend the Lord Mayor's Picnic with me. You must have a current m/c licence and be willing to ride a Vespa and be sober until 10pm.

We might also do an Orphan's Christmas if you are feeling lonely - but as I'm an atheist, don't expect a tree and decorations.

People who have hosted me in the past year will have first priority on dates but otherwise it'll be first in - best dressed.

Please email me jax@gettwisted.com.au but as I'm still on the road, don't expect a quick reply.

Cheers
Jax

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
