Has anyone been up Cape York recently. I am doing a trip their and need to know if Bramwell still sells fuel. I will be on a KLR250 and if they do not have fuel I will need to carry a small jerrican.

It has been a few years since I last went so anything really new. I have a new map.

Any tips, advice etc really appreciated.

Rob,
I telephoned Bramwells last Saturday and they informed me that fuel is avaliable.
When are you setting off,I will be heading up to the Cape next month.

I hope to get away mid to end of October. If the wet starts early I will have to cancel but usually the first half of Nov is hot but little rain.
Good luck for your trip, let us know how you go on. What bike are you using?
