Brisbane rides and riders

Hey groovers, I've been doing some intro/overnight rides and have been slowly testing my gear and bike, which has been great fun. But, and there is always a but, I'd like to share the trips with outer like minded riders.

Is there any interest from Brisbane (SEQ) based riders in a couple of over night/weekend rides?

Nothing serious, just a get together, ride to a destination, stay over night and ride home the next day, building up to longer rides to test the gear, share tip, and enjoy the Ozzy bush.

This would limit us to a 500k radius of Brisbane for overnighters and...well....we'll see what happens after that

I don't want to pressure anyone, so I'll be organising myself for the ride and anyone can come along to share the experience/falls/rain/wind/cold/locals/wildlife and maybe the great roads we have :innocent:

What are your thoughts?

Has this been already done?

Have i infringed any forum rules? :ban:

I'm looking at doing a ride down to the New England within the next month....OR.....what have you in mind?

I'm 48, so there will be no hero moves or free styling from me :rolleyes3:

Hey Rod, a few years ago I used to regularly organise weekends away. ATM I don't have much the spare time

The best way to gauge interest is to send a message to the HU Brisbane Community with a suggested date and destination

There is a lot of good people in the Brisbane Community, you will enjoy the interaction

Mate thanks, that sounds like a plan! Although i do think I'll wait a week or two for the local road to be cleared and opened!
