Hi mates,

no clue, what you are talking about.
But I know the guy, that started this thread: Ernesto.
He´s a good friend of us and somebody, who helped us a lot! His hospitality was outstanding - even after three years of riding around the world and experiencing great hospitality many times (especially in Australia) the encounters with him both in Alaska and Uruguay are quite something special.

@Ernesto: enjoy your time in down under and watch out for Krad-Vagabunden-sticker!

Cheers

Panny

G'day Ernesto,

Gracias.
Ernesto

My first experience with unlimited Horizonte people could not be better.
Thanks to this group I have known hospitality and sociability of the people of northern Australia.
I have personally known David (dwrite), a simple, cheerful, jovial, caring ...
This man opened the door of his house (I was completely unknown to him) I eat, I got a roof ... and during my stay treated me like a king.
He showed me his Australia as few people, their food, their , their travel dreams, their world view.
For my Spanish speaking and he in English, gave important questions that could be our communication ... but to the dumps, we have the understanding necessary to understand each as we thought.
Talking about the quality of person I met in Darwin is necessary, people are not always as true, supportive and willing to teach it throughout life have learned.
David (dwrite) will soon embark on a journey for the rest of his life, rode his motorcycle through Europe and America ... if anyone can lend a hand in his way, help you with your needs, give accommodation or just share a meal, a chat, a coffee or a (his crazy) ... this person deserves to be heard ... so if in the future will come to cross on their way, do not forget to see or hear ... inside there are things that deserve the greatest respect and which can learn a lot.
Hopefully David find many people like you on your next trip, you're a great person.
I appreciate your hospitality and hope the world will provide the best.
Now you have a friend in Latin America.
Thank you.
Ernesto

Agradecimiento...Thanks...

Dear friends Horizons Unlimited, I have come to my house in Uruguay after achieving that give a little more around Australia on a 125 cc Kimco.
After nearly 20,000 miles into this territory in a little over two months.
Another adventure full of stories, people, experiences and images.
Australia is a huge ... very huge land, full of magnificent places, bizarre wildlife and friendly people and solidarity.
For those who live for a job, often reach distant places and lands the first world it is very difficult, very difficult.
But not impossible, I managed to survive with a budget Australia forty dollars there ... Clearly this is very hard, but possible ... low cylinder machine, has helped fuel the economy for low power consumption.
Everything is possible and when people help you along the way ...
At the end of this trip I have only to thank Dominic infinitely, for their attempts to get help ... A David who stoically endured me Darwin, as Rod and Mrs who have given me a unique image of Brisbane.
Besides Españolísimo Carlos Valdez with whom we have interacted in Cairms.
To all of them (members of the HUBB), thank you, with this kind of people the path becomes easier and their actions are taxed in the heart of one lifetime.
Thank you for this opportunity to HUBB, the entire Australian people, new friends.
We are already negotiating with my wife my next destinations of Asia and Africa, in the same way, on a budget and at very low displacements ... travel is possible, no matter your class or your resources ... only you have to be right ... walk right and with a smile ... then the world opens up for you, supportive and unique.
Thanks ... infinite thanks!
Ernesto Urrestarasu.

Gracias…infinitas gracias!
Ernesto Urrestarasu.

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
