Perkins shipping can take you Darwin to Dili or you could go by air to Denpasar (Bali) or Jakarta - but you would be missing some beautiful islands & some great travelling..

When we were in Kupang there was talk of some Aussie that regularly ran a big yacht to Darwin carrying cargo & could take a bike on the deck - wasn't going to be cheap though.

There is also an Aussie who runs freight between Darwin and Kupang, West Timor who can take your bike for $300AUD. He goes approx once a month on an erratic schedule. Check out my report in the shipping pages, I shipped my bike from Kupang to Darwin back in July.
