After the big trip They came, went... and did it! But where are they now? DID that big trip change their lives? What to do with all the travel experience and how to use it? How to get a job afterwards! Was the trip the best - or worst - thing you ever did?

Nepal shipment

Hi ,I want tell you Nepal story shipment and give info about.
We are 3 friends and with Italian Bikes are arrived from Bangkok in Katmandu last November 2013 ,we done a trip around in 20 holidays days and come back in Italy leaving bikes there for next trip.
In this June 2014 we come back in KTM to continue our trip driving overland to Lhasa .I have worked 5 months to get all need docs to do it and pay50% to Lhasa agency travel but end of May , China stopped bikes travel to Tibet till .....unknown ( I don't know the really reason)
I try to got transit Pakistan visa but It was refuse (it was better)than for come back Italy only way is to fly .I have choose to fly in Dubai than ferry to Iran .
I have used a New Link Export in Thamel Ktm shipment agency but it was a wrong way because he don't say us that allowed parking bikes in Nepal MUST not more than 6 month so in Airport Custom refuse to delivery our bikes.
After one week discuss with them the only way was to go overland to Nepal/India border in Birganj leave Nepal and re enter with a new stamp on Carnet. We done it and come back in KTM( a very nice mountain trip)
We change Cargo agency(of course) and this time our choose was the best: UNIOCARGO in Thamel in front of Katmandu guesthouse.
Very professional ,quickly and save a lot of money .I suggest you this shipment company.Ganesh Devkota

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
