Yeah loads of 911's and bigger around, some of them fantastic. Nice to find somrthing slower than my Iveco. Met a dutch one (the one with the dartboard on the back) in Lux - taking advantage of the lower diesel price and filling up its 500 litre tank

Do you mean the one with all the south american plates on the cab - only spoke to them to ask about the step they were using

Hi,

Just read your postl, we hauled across in the car for the Saturday, really cool gathering. Would have taken Defender but spent previous 3 weeks breaking down in various countries around baltic. Great how many people share ideas and are happy to show you round what they have done.

HI Rich
yeah the one with the plates on the top of the cab,
they have a amazing truck, they dont get out of thier beds unless its 20c inside, its a 5 star hotel room on wheels.
they just had a normal step system when we saw them but just heard they went back to ormocar for modifications
big tank for a 911, we averaged 18lts per 100kms for all of south america glad we dont have it back here would kill us in diesel.

when are you next off travelling

did you get ?

'nessie' - did you guys buy another vehicle yet ?
sorry we didn't get to see each other in UK but well time just elapsed !

dave, you were thinking of an iveco, is that a firm commitment yet ?

there's a small van style (exactly same as mine) for good price in i think portsmouth or southampton. It looks nice spec for the money. Check the yahoo group for a posting about a month back.

phil.

(ps - antonella and anton (the spanish/italian family in big red mercedes you met at graham in ecuador. they are based in manchester at moment)
