Visas for West Africa (Where from?)

Hi, We will be Driving from the UK down the West side of Africa starting early 2009. I am hoping to get some info on where are the best places to get visas for each country on the way down. The order of countries are:
Mauritania
Senegal
The Gambia
Mali
Burkina Faso
Ghana
Togo
Benin
Nigeria
Cameroon
Gabon

Any help would be great, Thanks

For RIM a transit visa is available at the border, but it is easier to stop in Rabat and collect both RIM and Mali visas.

Senegal - you can get the visa in Nouakchott, although for EU / US citizens I believe it is available at the border. With an Australian passport, I had to get it in Nouakchott.

Gambia is at the border.

Burkina Faso at the border.

Ghana is easily obtainable - consulate in Bamako was helpful for issuing a visa with 9 month validity.

Togo - 7 day transit at the border

Havent made it to the rest yet.

cheers

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
