So here's the plan : Having travelled through West Africa and extensively around Europe in various vehicles from 2 wheels up to 6, I have now decided to explore a little of what Mongolia has to offer. I have kitted a 4x4 truck out for the trip and am just about ready to leave (mid April) UK. Approximate timescales would have me in Mongolia by beginning of July and intend to be at Magadan looking for a ship by end of Sept. That's about as thorough as my planning gets. I'm guessing to get Russian visa sorted via an agent before leaving and other visas will be obtained at Istanbul. Once in Canada i'd probably 'park up' for a month or so to recharge energy and eran some cash. Anybody out there interested in joining me ? Looking for other vehicles ( 2, 4 or 6 wheels ) to maybe meet on route, travel whole route or just part of ????????

I've left you a reply somewhere else too - I'm heading off from Dublin, thru the Uk to Berlin & the baltics, St Petersburg and Moscow and on to Mongolia and on to Vladivostok and the U.S. Aiming for Mongolia early July too - want to hook up somewhere or swap numbers/ email to see if we overlap ? Would,'t mind some company for some stages ! Kevin
