Land Rover garage in Morocco

Hi,

Does anyone know of some qualified Land Rover workshops in Morocco. I will be travelling for a couple of months and would like to have an address or two in my notebook - just in case

In Zagora, they'll find you!

As you come out of the desert, the guys ride around on scooters and ask if you need service.

I had brakes fixed there, they did a decent job.

HTH,
Nick.

...but, as with most mechanics in Africa, it's worth watching what they're doing.

Rgds,
Nick.

They provide a valuable steering testing service as well. See how many you can run off the road whilst 'testing' your steering ;-)

LR mechs in Morocco

Morocco is full of LRs - loads of parts there. Their oil filters are bigger than Euro spec ones - better for cooling oil down. Parts are cheaper there too - worth bring a few home for your next service!

Erraji Nourdine in Erfoud is good - SW of marketplace on the Errachidia road.
There is a good one in Zagora too - ask at Camping Sindibad.
There's said to be a good one in Rabat too but Im not sure where - if you are in Sidi Kaouki on the coast there is an Italian guy with a 90 there who can point you at a few.

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive.
