I looking for fresh information about selling a car in Mali. Which cars ? which Price ? border formalities (from mauritania to mali) ? do i need clear through customs ("dédouaner" in freanch ) the car at the mauritania - mali border ? visa (how to marocco - mauritania and mauritania - mali) ? insurance how to ? marocco - mauritania and mauritania - mali ? what to carry with the car to sell in mali or mauritania (tires ? electro portable (drill...) ?

I've sold a car in Bamako last year. It was easy.

The price I achieved was roughly the same as in Central Europe.

Easiest sells are probably Mercedes, Toyotas.

I got all visas (Morocco, Mauretania, Mali) and insurances at the borders.

The buyer in Mali will take care of the douanes/duties.

The laissez-passer you get at the Mali border can just be thrown away. You get no stamp in the passport for your car.

P.S.: To my knowledge, procedures are the same in Burkina Faso and Niger, so maybe you want to drive a little further.
