Omo Valley, Ethiopia - Kenya

Hi Hubbers

We're on route down to Cape Town at the moment and wondering if there are any other overlanders out there considering crossing into to Kenya from Ethiopia via the Omo Valley / Lake Turkana route in early June?

We've got a reasonable amount of info on the route but have been advised that it may be better to travel in convoy with another vehicle at that time of year in case there is still a bit of rain about.

Any ideas or potential travel buddies welcome.

Cheers

Ness

Once you get to Ethiopia if you stay a few days at Tim & Kim's Village at Gorgora and Wim's in Addis you'll have no problem meeting up with other travellers heading south or hearing about road conditions from people heading north. They're also both nice places to stay.
