morocco 2012
Hi Everybody
anybody travelling morocco for 10-15 days in April/May 2012.Want to try out this overlanding life style before splashing out a lot of money prepping my lc 80 and finding that the wife hates the idea.I've done an organised tour some years back on one those trucks thru egypt/jordan/syria/lebanon and driven to mongolia in a banger sleeping by the roadside,apart from occasional night in a dodgy hotel but my other half has never slept in any sort of a tent,so you understand where i'm coming from. So would like to join others travelling in 4x4 so we could experience and learn without getting into trouble thanks nomad

We did Morocco last year, this May we are doing a fairly soft off-road trek in the Pyrenees. We are two experienced desert travellers in a well prepared Land Rover Discovery. Perhaps it would be an inexpensive proving ground for venturing further into the unknown. We invite one or two additional 4x4’s to join us for back-up.A non competitive route is planned by an established Pyrenees guide, all advice is given. Only requirements are a 4x4, tent and a sense of humour. We rendezvous in north Spain on Saturday 5th May and start our trip at 12.00 on that day. £150 contribution to organisation costs would be welcome. For further info please contact. Kitmax
