Hey Cassie,

I live in Helsinki and I can say that it is not easy to find indoor storage space for cars or trucks.

This place S O U T H M A R I N E offers storage service for boats and yachts and they might take cars aswell. It is worth asking at least.

Trans Am Oy also offers storage for cars. Price is 85 € / month. Tel. +358 50 5750885

Motorhome renting Finland Helsinki - AV-rent Oy they rent caravans, but they also offer storage service. Tel. +358 400 843 998.

Those are the only ones I know. Good luck!

Helsinki Storage

Korpisoturi,
Cool - that's fantastic. That's miles more progress than we had made. Will look into the contacts you provided - all 3 sound great. Will advise what we end up doing for info.
Many thanks
Cassie

Trans Am Storage Helsinki

Just to say Trans Am (option 2) out of the contacts provided came up trumps for us. Covered storage - plenty of space - just phone a few days before planning to arrive so no need to pre-arrange too far in advance in case plans change. 50% deposit on leaving vehicle, remainder on collection. Very prompt email responses plus a map of exact location etc. Thanks again!

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
