I havn't signed up for the HU meet yet but more than likely will be going and hopefully will be there longer than the 15mins of last year. I will be taking the 4x4 down don't expect anything arranged for the 4x4's if i'm there i'll be doing some trails in the area.

Hi
We went last year in our LC but other than one other 4x4 noon else turned up. We will be heading up this year if others are going.

If we can get a few then perhaps we arrange our little breakout sessions.

Thanks Becky, I see we have segregated camping anyway so it would be good to compare notes etc. Wasn't expecting anything special but I remember talk of a 4x4 specific meet sometime which would be good

anyone else?

If the 4x4 folks want anything specific, just let me know and I'll be happy to post it on the meeting page and include it in the schedule - but you need to come up with details/plan - a presentation, breakout planned, or whatever. Should pick up the lurkers that way...

I would be tempted to come along - where would the next one be? (I can't find the info on it).

Also, I am currently planning a weekend meet for the ELCO LC club which HUBB members would be happy to join in - it will obviously be more 4x4 than most HUBB meets, but many of the ELCO members are overlanders so should well be of interest.

Thanks for the link.

At the moment I am looking at either one of the weekends towards the end of April or some time in September. I hope to have things pinned down in a little more detail over the next fortnight.

HU Meet

Just refreshing the idea of some 4x4s at HU Meet this year (instead of just 2 of us like last year). Notice that places are filling up quickly.....

Just an update - we are up to 415 out of a possible 500 maximum already, so make your plans soon.

I'm happy to sort / schedule whatever you folks decide you want, so get it together and let me know!

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive.
