If ever in need of anything to do with overlanding vehicles when around Bamako, go and see Bassirou Beseppe at garage LaFalaise. He is extremely good, has a garage with equipment (not just shackle) and most importantly is very fair and honest (told us he could temporarily fix the car but would be expensive and unadvisable even when we offered loads of money he stuck to his point).

Having met mechanics all over West Africa (unfortunatly!) Bassirou is a breath of fresh and clean air!
